## What it is

- Finder-like dual-pane UI to browse and copy approved folders between paired Macs
- Works on the same Wi-Fi (LAN) and across networks / abroad via Tailscale
- Optional MCP for Cursor, Claude Desktop, Claude Code, VS Code / Copilot
- Activity log, Travel Ready, optional Chrome extension folder copy helpers

## Who it is for

- People with a home desk Mac and a travel Mac
- Same-roof two-Mac setups that need a project folder tonight
- AI IDE users who want agents to use the same allowlisted folders

## What it is not

- Not TeamViewer / full remote desktop
- Not a Porter cloud sync service
- Not an iPhone / iPad app (this version)
- Not Dropbox-style two-way conflict sync in V1
- Not Apple ID auto-discovery

## Honest limits

Apple Silicon builds in the current line. Tailscale required for reliable travel. Gatekeeper may ask for right-click → Open (non-notarized indie MIT build).
